Τον Δεκέμβριο 2009 συστήσαμε στο Αργοστόλι την

αστικη μη κερδοσκοπικη εταιρια

ΑΡΩΓΗΣ ΑΣΘΕΝΩΝ ΚΕΦΑΛΛΗΝΙΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΙΘΑΚΗΣ

 «ΑΓΙΟΣ ΛΟΥΚΑΣ Ο ΙΑΤΡΟΣ(ΣΥΜΦΕΡΟΥΠΟΛΕΩΣ)»

 

Σκοπός της είναι η αρωγή ασθενών που νοσηλεύονται στα νοσοκομεία του νησιού ή στα γηροκομεία ή σε άλλα ιδρύματα και κέντρα ή σε κατοικίες, με την δωρεάν χορήγηση οποιουδήποτε είδους εξοπλισμού είναι απαραίτητος για την εξυπηρέτηση αυτών και των συνοδών τους.

Ήδη η πρώτη της δραστηριότητα περιλαμβάνει την αγορά 21 σύγχρονων ηλεκτρικών νοσοκομειακών κλινών, οι οποίες τοποθετήθηκαν στο νοσοκομείο Αργοστολίου, στην παθολογική και στην ορθοπεδική κλινική, και μία στον Οίκο Ευγηρίας αξίας 3.100 ευρώ  η κάθε μία . Η κλίνη αυτού του τύπου δίνει την δυνατότητα στον ασθενή να αυτοεξυπηρετείται σε μεγάλο ποσοστό μόνος του αφού με το control στο χέρι του, σηκώνει την πλάτη ακόμη και σε θέση καρέκλας, κατεβάζει τα πόδια, αναπαύει την μέση, έχει χειρολαβές για να μετατοπισθεί με ασφάλεια και άνεση, και όλη η κλίνη ανεβαίνει στο ύψος, ενώ εξυπηρετείται και ο συνοδός και το νοσηλευτικό προσωπικό. Για τους ψηλούς, η κλίνη επιμηκύνεται ενώ τα στρώματα είναι αδιάβροχα, με προδιαγραφές τοπικού μασάζ και αποφυγής κατακλίσεων πλέον άλλων πολλών δυνατοτήτων. Στην συνέχεια θα αγορασθούν κομοδίνα όλα με ενσωματωμένο ψυγειάκι και αποσπώμενο-ανακλινόμενο τραπεζάκι φαγητού και διαβάσματος.

            Επίσης όλους τους επώνυμους και ανώνυμους χορηγούς, τα αρωγά μέλη που με την συνδρομή τους ενισχύουν μηνιαίως συστηματικά τον σκοπό της εταιρίας, τους συμπολίτες που  τιμούν την μνήμη των προσφιλών τους προσώπων με χορηγίες υπέρ της σκοπού της εταιρίας και τους φίλους  που ενισχύουν παντοιοτρόπως και ιδιαίτερα ηθικά το έργο της.

Η εταιρία δεν έχει έξοδα. Μόνο έσοδα. Όλοι οι εταίροι είμαστε εθελοντές και προσφέρουμε  αφιλοκερδώς κάθε υπηρεσία που απαιτείται για την ευόδωση του σκοπού. Τα αρωγά μέλη δηλώνουν όνομα, διεύθυνση  και e-mail και συμμετέχουν με  20 ευρώ μηνιαία συνδρομή.

On December of 2009 we established in Argostoli

THE NON PROFITABLE COMPANY

Which provides support to the patient’s of Cephalonia & Ithaca

“SAINT LUCHAS THE DOCTOR OF SYMFEROYPOLI”

The main purpose of this company is to provide assistance to the patients of the hospitals of the island, for the nursing institution for the elder and  any other institution in need, as well as centers, or habitats, by offering for free any kind of equipment, necessary for the patients and their guardians.

So far, its first activity (which has been achieved) includes the purchase of sixteen last technology electronic beds for hospitals. Which have already been bought and placed at the hospital of Argostoli, 7 of them at the pathology department, 8 of them at the orthopedic and one at the nursing home for old people. The price of each bed is 3.100 €, and the total cost for all is 49.600 €.

This type of bed gives the opportunity to the patients of self-assistance, since the patient can module each part of the bed at the height he prefers, with a control he can lift any part of the bed as he wishes, specifically he can lift the back of the bed at the height he prefers even at a chair position, he can lower his legs by lowering the specific side of the bed, he can rest his waist, moreover it has handles on two sides which ensures the safety and comfort, minimizes the risk of falling down from the bed , and nurses and the guardians of the patients are being helped also. For people being taller, the bed can provide adjustments in length. In addition, the mattresses are water- resistant, they have high standards judging by the fact that they can offer relaxation massage, and many other potentials.

One of the future aims of our company is to buy commodes (komodins) with incorporated refrigerators, food and reading tables which can be adjusted for the patients and guardian needs.

The beds have already been placed and you can visit the hospital for confirmation. Specifically:

In orthopedic department and two bedded rooms:

- Room No 212:  Donation 6: Marfin Group (Mr Vgenopoulos)

From the monthly financial assistances and the donations we have gathered money to buy 8 more beds, the 4 of them have been delivered on 14^th of June, which have been placed:

In the pathology department Two bedded Rooms :

     -Room No 210 (insulation): Donation No 10: Monastery of Saint Gerasimos Omala Cephalonia

In the pathology department Two bedded Rooms :

     -Room No 168: Donation 9 : Marfin Group (Mr Vgenopoulos)

                               Donation 11:  company of saint Luchas the Doctor by the member’s financial contribution.

At the nursery of old people:  Donation 12: family of the priest Kekato Christo.

The rest four beds will be received before the end of June, the two of them will be placed in the pathology department and the other two in the orthopedic department. Totally, from the beginning of the foundation until now (June 2010), the total amount of 16 beds are being delivered, with total cost 48.000 €.

The Hospital continues the renovation of the nursery rooms, giving priority to the 3 bedded room of pathology department at which strokes, and other brain incidents, which need several days of healing, are being treated.

All the equipment supply we gather, is being inserted in an archive system and each bed is being placed with a sign on the bed which shows its number, the name of the company and the sponsor’s name so that direct preservation, and the continuous function of the beds is being ensured.

5. Mr Kontarini Michali for his precious and continuous free transportation of the beds from Athens to Cephalonia at the hospital.

8. Mr Pantazatos Panagis for offering a vehicle to discharge the beds.
9. The plumbers corporation of Cephalonia, and its president Mr Koumariotis George for his moral support to the company’s aids (and for donating an air-condition at the hospital)
10. Mr Athanasios Mouikis for the tender hospitality at his hotel for the meetings of the members
11.   Mr Vaggelis Kounadis (Premier Café- patisserie) for the donations of sweets at the social events of the company.

Furthermore all the donators for the company known and uknown (by anonymous offers), the members who provide every month from their savings for the reinforcement of our cause, our fellow-citizens who honor the memory of  family members and intimate persons who passed away by donating for our cause  and all the friends who help in any way for our purpose.

At this time we would like to inform you that the company has no expenses in any way!! Only incomes which are supplied only for the purchase of beds. All the members are volunteers and they provide their services for the company with no profit for them. All the members are listed, the name , surname, address, e-mail and all their donations are being registered. The members give at the begining for registration 50 € and 20 € each month.
